Sylvia Pantel
Sylvia Pantel (born 1 January 1961) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2013.

Political career
Pantel first became member of the Bundestag in the 2013 German federal election, representing the Düsseldorf II district.[1] She is a member of the Committee on Families, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.[2]
Political positions
Ahead of the 2021 Christian Democratic Union of Germany leadership election, Pantel publicly endorsed Friedrich Merz to succeed Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer as the party’s chair.[3]
