Martina Renner
Martina Renner (born 11 March 1967) is a German politician. She represents The Left. Martina Renner has served as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Thuringia since 2013.[1]

Life
Renner was born in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate. After graduating from high school Gymnasium Gonsenheim in 1986, Renner studied philosophy, cultural studies, art studies and biology at the University of Bremen from 1987 to 1995, where she was a member of the board of the General Students' Committee from 1993 to 1995. After her studies she worked in Bremen from 1996 to 1997 as an education and public relations officer at the German-Kurdish Friendship Association and from 1998 to 2002 as a cultural manager at the Fuhrpark district cultural centre. She became member of the bundestag after the 2013 German federal election.[2] She is a member of the Committee on Internal Affairs and the 1st Committee of Inquiry.[3][4]
