Offinso North District
Offinso North District[1] is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. The district was created out of Offinso District by a decree of then-president John Agyekum Kufuor on 29 February 2008; while the original remaining part has been renamed as Offinso Municipal District. The district assembly is located in the northern part of Ashanti Region and has Akomadan as its capital town.
