Ahafo Ano South District
Ahafo Ano South District is a former district in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988 from the former Ahafo Ano District. However on March 15, 2018, it was split out into two new districts: Ahafo Ano South East District (capital: Adugyama) and Ahafo Ano South West District (capital: Mankranso). The district assembly was located in the eastern part of Ashanti Region and had Mankranso as its capital town.
