Bosomtwe District
Bosomtwe District is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989 when it was known as Botsomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District, after being created from the former Ejisu-Juaben-Bosomtwe District. Later on, part of the district was split off in 2008 to create Atwima Kwanwoma District; thus the remaining original part was renamed as Bosomtwe District. The district assembly is located in the central part of Ashanti Region and has Kuntanase as its capital town.
