Kannur Municipal Corporation
Kannur Municipal Corporation is the civic administration body of Kannur, Kerala. It has jurisdiction over Kannur Town, Kannur City, Pallikunnu, Chalad, Varam ,Edakkad,Thottada, Chelora, Vattapoyil and other adjoining places.[2] It is the latest Municipal Corporation created in Kerala.

History
The Kannur Municipal Corporation was created by merging the erstwhile Municipality of Kannur, and Panchayats of Palikunnu, Puzhathi, Edakadu, Elayavoor, and Chelora in 2015.
