Walesboro is an unincorporated community in Wayne Township, Bartholomew County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[2]

History

A post office was established at Walesboro (also spelled historically Wailesborough and Wailesboro) in 1852, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1907.[3] The community was named for its founder, John P. Wales.[4]

Walesboro is located at 39°08′43″N 85°54′52″W.

The community is located on Indiana State Road 11 and is three miles east of Interstate 65.
