Tecozautla

Tecozautla (Otomi: Masofo) is a town and one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 575.6 km².

As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 31,609.[1] In 2017 there were 2,415 inhabitants who spoke an indigenous language,[2] primarily Mezquital Otomi.[3]
