Quentin MacDonald
Quentin Joseph Reuben William Jordan MacDonald (born 25 September 1988) is a New Zealand rugby union player. He played for the Chiefs, Crusaders and Blues in Super Rugby. MacDonald plays as a hooker. He is currently playing his rugby for Tasman in the Mitre 10 Cup.

Early life
Born in Blenheim, MacDonald attended Marlborough Boys' College, playing for the school's 1st XV rugby team in 2005 and 2006.[1]
Tasman
MacDonald played 78 games for Tasman between 2007 and 2015 before going to play overseas. He later returned to the team ahead of the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup.[2] MacDonald played 11 games and scored 3 tries for the Mako in the 2020 season as they went on to win the competition for the second time in a row.
Crusaders
Between 2010 and 2012 he played Super Rugby for the Crusaders.
Blues
He made the move north to join the Blues ahead of the 2013 Super Rugby season.[3][4] After one season with the Chiefs in 2015, MacDonald returned to the Blues for the 2016 Super Rugby season.[5]
Loan to Munster
It was announced on 21 February 2014 that MacDonald would be joining Irish side Munster on a three-month contract.[6] He was added to Munster's 2013-14 Heineken Cup squad on 20 March 2014.[7] MacDonald made his debut for Munster as a replacement against Treviso on 22 March 2014.
New Zealand Māori
MacDonald was named in the Māori All Blacks team for the 2012 end-of-year rugby union tests.[8]
Chiefs
In 2015 he joined the Chiefs in Super Rugby, making the Waikato based side his third team in as many seasons as a Super Rugby contracted player.
