History
The Bank was incorporated on June 10, 1999.[2] Bangladesh Premier league sold its tickets in 2013 from branches of the bank.[4] In 2014 the Bank was fined 2 million Taka for money laundering along with seven other banks.[5] In 2016 money 4 million Taka was stolen from ATMs of the bank using cloned Saudi Arabian credit cards.[6] The Managing Director & CEO of the bank is Mr. M Reazul Karim.[7]
Premier Bank Limited is operating all over Bangladesh with 119 branches, 123 agent banking outlets and 81 ATM's as of 31 December 2020. Premier Bank Limited offers card services which includes Automated teller machine (ATM), Debit and Credit cards. Premier Bank Limited also offers various fund transfer services like Core Banking System, Bangladesh Automated clearing house, Real-time gross settlement, National payment switch Bangladesh, SWIFT, Electronic funds transfer (Electronic bill payment, Mobile payment), Cheque and EDS Money which is an Electronic trading platform. Customer service facilities includes Call centre and Help desk are also available.
