Polaris, California
Polaris is an unincorporated community in Nevada County, California.[1] It lies at an elevation of 5695 feet (1736 m).[1] Polaris was established on the Central Pacific Railroad line in 1867,[2] 2.5 miles (4.0 km) east-northeast of Truckee.[3]
