Pec (Domažlice District)

Pec (Czech pronunciation: [ˈpɛts]; German: Hochofen) is a village and municipality in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic, located about 8 km west-southwest from Domažlice at the foot of the Český les mountains. The population as of 2007 was 246.

The settlement is of relatively young origin, it evolved next to ironworks with blast furnace founded around 1652.
