Kdyně
Kdyně (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɡdɪɲɛ]; German: Neu Gedein) is a town in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,200 inhabitants. It lies some 60 km (37 mi) to the southwest from the region capital of Plzeň.

Kdyně is also a municipality with Commissioned Local Authority within the Domažlice Municipality with Extended Competence.
Economy
The oldest textile manufactory in Bohemia was founded here in 1696.[2] According to a display in the town museum, Kdyně has been involved in textile production for thousands of years.
