One Second (film)
One Second is an unreleased Chinese drama film directed by Zhang Yimou, about a man who escapes from a farm-prison during the Cultural Revolution.[1] It was selected to compete for the Golden Bear at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival,[2] but was withdrawn shortly before the screening. The official explanation for the withdrawal is "technical difficulties encountered during post-production",[3] but critics suspect politically motivated censorship.[4][5]
