Nurhak
Nurhak (Kurdish: Nûrheq[3]) is a town and district of Kahramanmaraş Province in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. According to 2000 census, the district area's population was 17,260,[4] and the district center had a population of 8,118. Together with Elbistan and Pazarcık, it is considered to be in an Alevi region in the province of Kahramanmaraş.[5] The Alevi population is Kurdish.[6]
