Neusticomys

Neusticomys is a genus of semiaquatic South American rodents in the family Cricetidae.[1]

The term Neusticomys derives from the two ancient greek words νευστικός (neustikós), meaning "able to swim", and μῦς (mûs), meaning "mouse, rat".[2][3]
