Live at the Hard Rock Cafe
Live at the Hard Rock Cafe is the second live DVD released by UK singer Melanie C. Filmed in 2008 at the Hard Rock Café in Manchester, it features Melanie performing a selection of songs from her first four albums. Fans from all over the world came not only to see Melanie perform, but also to help raise money for Hard Rock Cafe's yearly fundraiser, Pinktober. Already five months pregnant, Melanie performed a selection of her greatest hits along with some personal favourites during a 75-minute set. Filmed with just three camcorders, this film captures the raw intensity of this special acoustic event. Aside from the live concert, the DVD also includes two previously unreleased tracks from Melanie's fourth album, "This Time". Just 1750 copies were pressed and the DVD was only available through her official online store. All proceeds from this limited edition DVD were donated to the Caron Keating Foundation.[1]

Controversy
After the performance of "Carolyna" a fan asked her for an autograph. Melanie replied 'A person doesn't ask for an autograph when the artist is on stage'. However, Melanie decided to sign the CD. Which turned out to be a Sporty Spice Edition of Viva Forever. Melanie jokingly added to her statement 'And especially when it's a fucking Spice Girls CD!'; followed immediately by 'Sorry Baby!', in reference to cursing in front of the child she was pregnant with. She than light-heartedly added "But it's from Spain, so it's okay". And just before 'Why', the fan continued questioning her about her statement, until she light-heartedly added 'Is he interviewing me now?' The event can clearly be seen in the DVD and was mentioned in several Spice Girls fan forums, mainly accusing the fan for making her uncomfortable asking her an explanation for the statement.
