Krasnoyarsk Cheremshanka Airport
Krasnoyarsk Cheremshanka Airport (Russian: Красноярский аэропорт Черемшанка) (ICAO: UNKM) is a domestic airport in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, situated 23 kilometres (14 mi) northwest of Krasnoyarsk. Since 1982 it is also the base of a helicopter detachment of civil defense, featuring the Mil Mi-6 and Mil Mi-8 aircraft. Besides civil defense and military use, the airfield is used for civilian passenger traffic flights of Antonov An-24 and Antonov An-26 aircraft. It is the hub of KrasAvia airline. The airport is an unusual case, as the airport practically shares the same perimetre as the neighbouring Yemelyanovo Airport, down to having the two airport runways being the exact same bearing, 11/29. The only differences between the two airports on approach are the slightly different positioning of the runways, as well as the differing runway lengths.

2011 fire
On 19 December 2011, a fire broke out at the Cheremshanka airport which destroyed the terminal building and the air traffic control tower. No injuries were reported. The reason for the fire is under investigation. About 100 fire fighters and 38 vehicles managed to extinguish the fire about four hours after the alert. No injuries occurred, no passengers were in the terminal building (capacity for 500 passengers) when the fire broke out.[1]

In 2011–2018, passengers were served at a temporary terminal, which was made from the previous cargo terminal. The destroyed terminal was reconstructed after the fire and enlarged, to allow accepting 30 flights on a daily basis. The new passenger terminal was open in June 2018.[2] The terminal serves regional flights only.[3]
