Kevin Kiley (politician)
Kevin Kiley (born January 30, 1985) is an American politician serving in the California State Assembly. He is a Republican representing the 6th district, encompassing an outer ring of northern and eastern Sacramento suburbs.

Early life
Kiley grew up in Sacramento County, where his father was a physician and his mother was a teacher. He graduated from Harvard University and was a teacher in Los Angeles. He then attended and graduated from Yale Law School to become a lawyer and returned to northern California
Career
Prior to being elected to the state assembly, he was a lawyer and then a state deputy attorney general. In 2016, he was elected to the California State Assembly. After winning a second term, he ran for the Senate Seat in California's 1st District to succeed fellow Republican Ted Gaines, who resigned to become a member of the California Board of Equalization. This special election occurred on March 26, 2019.[1] He finished second in primary, but lost the runoff to fellow state Assemblyman Brian Dahle.
