Imposter hutia
The imposter hutia (Hexolobodon phenax) is an extinct species of rodent in the family Capromyidae. It is monotypic within the genus Hexolobodon and subfamily Hexolobodontinae. It was endemic to Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic).
