Birdwatch (fact checker)
Birdwatch is a fact checker for tweets that combats misinformation on the social platform. [1][2] The feature was launched on January 28, 2021, and it is only available to a first group of pilot participants.This program has been seen as a way to censor Conservative voices.[3]
Any user on Twitter can flag a tweet to be fact checked by the community and Twitter moderators.[4]
