3rd National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party
The Third National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party was held from June 12–20, 1923, in Guangzhou. There was a united front formed based on cooperation between the governing Kuomintang political Party, and the new Chinese Communist Party. It succeeded the foundational 2nd National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. The congress elected the 3rd Central Executive Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. The 4th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party would follow.[1]
