The 1983 Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 74th staging of the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1909.

On 23 October 1983, Cloughduv won the championship following a 1-14 to 1-06 defeat of Ballinhassig in the final at Ballinora Sportsfield.[1] This as their fourth championship title overall and their first title since 1973.
