The municipality covers an area of 6.77 square kilometres (2.61 sq mi), and has a population of 126 (as at 28 August 2006).
Zborovy lies to the east of Plánice along the 186 road, approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) east of Klatovy, 43 km (27 mi) south of Plzeň, and 102 km (63 mi) south-west of Prague.
The settlement was first mentioned in 1384. It contains a church, Kostel sv. Jana Křtitele, which is dedicated to St Jana,[1] and a wayside shrine.
