Yoshiki Takei
Yoshiki Takei (武居由樹, born 12 July 1996) is a Japanese boxer and kickboxer. He is the former K-1 Super Bantamweight champion, and winner of the 2017 and 2019 K-1 Super Bantamweight Grand Prix.[4]

Kickboxing career
He fought Ryusei during Krush 65, in the Krush 53 kg tournament. Takei won the fight by a second round KO.[5] He advanced to the tournament finals, where he fought Yuki Ueba. Takei won the fight by a first round KO. Takei fought a rematch with Ryusei for his first Krush title defense.[6] He scored a TKO win, after knocking Ryusei down three times in the third round.
He fought Yuichiro Ito during GRACHAN 25.[7] He won the fight by unanimous decision.[8]
He fought in the 2017 K-1 Super Bantamweight World Grand Prix. He defeated Antonio Orden in the quarter final by TKO, Keisuke Ishida in the semi final by TKO, and Kenji Kubo by unanimous decision in the finals.[9]
He fought Victor Saravia in November 2017. Takei won the fight in the first round by a first round KO.[10]
Takei defended his Super Bantamweight title during K'Festa 1 against Kenji Kubo.[11] He won the fight in the first round, after knocking Kubo out with a right hook.[12][13]
In September 2018 he fought ISKA World Flyweight and WBC Muaythai International Bantamweight champion Akram Hamidi. Takei won the fight by knockout in the first round.[14][15]
Yoshiki fought Yodbuadaeng Fairtex in December 2018.[16] He won the fight by decision, after an extra round.[17]
He fought Sandro Martin during K'Festa 2,[18] and won by a first round TKO.[19]
Takei took part in the 2019 K-1 Super Bantamweight Grand Prix. In the quarter finals he defeated Alex Rivas by TKO in the first round. In the semifinals he defeated Shuhei Kumura by TKO in the first round. In the final match he KO'd Masashi Kumura in the second round.[20][21]
Takei fought Suriyanlek Aor.Bor.Tor. Kampee during K-1's 2019 Nagoya event.[22][23] He won the fight by a unanimous decision.[24] He fought Dansiam Ayothayafightgym during K'Festa 3.[25][26] Takei won the fight by a unanimous decision.[27]
On December 9 2020, at the K'Festa 4 press conference Takei announced his departure from kickboxing.[28]
At the time of his retirement, he was the #1 flyweight and #8 pound for pound kickboxer in the world according to Combat Press.[29] He had been ranked in the P4P top ten since July 2019.[30] He's was ranked as the #1 strawweight by Combat Press from May 2019[31] until August 2020.[32] Before that, he was ranked as a top ten bantamweight from April 2018[33] until April 2019.[34]
Boxing career
On December 12 2020, at the K-1 World GP 2020 Winter's Crucial Bout event Takei relinquished his K-1 title and announced his transition to boxing. He accordingly joined the Ohashi gym where he will be trained by Akira Yaegashi.[35][36]
