Akram Hamidi

Akram Hamidi (born 4 January 1999) is a French kickboxer and Nak Muay. He is the current ISKA World K-1 Flyweight champion,[3] WBC Muaythai International Bantamweight champion,[4] and WKN European Bantamweight champion.[5]

He is the former AFMT Bantamweight champion.

Martial arts career

During Hurricane Fighting 4 Akram Hamidi fought for his first career title, the AFMT Bantamweight championship. Hamidi won the title by TKO, after knocking his opponent down three times in the third round.[6][7]

Hamidi fought with K-1 during the 2018 WGP, when he faced Yoshiki Takei. He lost the fight in the first round, through a KO.[8]

Akram Hamidi fought for the WKN European Oriental Rules Bantamweight title in late 2018, facing Samuele Andolina.[9] Hamidi won the fight by a second round TKO.[10]

During the Kings of Muay Thai he fought for the WBC Muaythai International Bantamweight title, against Frederico Cordeiro.[11] Hamidi won the fight by a unanimous decision.[12]

In the very next fight Hamidi fought for the ISKA K-1 World Flyweight title.[13] He knocked out Sandro Martin in the second round to claim the title.[14]
