Virginia's 12th Senate district

Virginia's 12th Senate district is one of 40 districts in the Senate of Virginia. It has been represented by Republican Senator Siobhan Dunnavant since 2016, succeeding retiring fellow Republican Walter Stosch.

Geography

District 12 is located in the immediate northern suburbs of Richmond, covering parts of Henrico and Hanover Counties.[3]

The district overlaps with U.S. congressional districts 1 and 7.[4]
