Slushii and Marshmello revealed their collaboration on Twitter.[4]

It features 'infectious' chord progressions, arpeggiators, and vocals.[5] Kat Bein of Billboard described the song as 'deceptively adorable', writing "It's full of shiny, sparkling textures and rainbow-colored synths".[6] EDMSauce described it as 'incorporation of aspects of both artists unique sounds'. They wrote "It opens with a plucking melody punctured with drum beats. It is layered with synths, high-pitched vocals, and future bass drops".[7][8]
