Tribonyx
Tribonyx is a small genus, containing two extant and one extinct species of birds in the rail family, that is sometimes lumped with the moorhens in Gallinula. The extant species are endemic to Australia. Described species are:
- Black-tailed nativehen, T. ventralis (Gould, 1837)
- Tasmanian nativehen, T. mortierii Du Bus de Gisignies, 1840
- Hodgens's waterhen, T. hodgenorum Olson, 1986 (extinct)
