Time in Finland
Finland observes Eastern European Time (EET) (UTC+02:00) in the winter and Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) (UTC+03:00) during summer time.[1] Finland has observed daylight saving time (DST) since 1981 advancing the clock at 03:00 EET on the last Sunday in March and back at 04:00 EET on the last Sunday in October.[2]
Date and time notation
The 12-hour clock is often used in the spoken language and idiomatic expressions, while the 24-hour notation is used in writing, with a full point as the standardised and recommended separator (e.g. “15.07” or “8.27”).
