Tashan District

Tashan District (Persian: بخش_تشان‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Behbahan County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,829, in 2,855 families.[1] The District has one city Tashan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Tashan-e Gharbi Rural District and Tashan-e Sharqi Rural District. Ahvaz includes areas Ablesh, Kalgahzar, Mash’had Takhan, Chaharadehi, Hayat Abad Majidi, Hayat Abad Khalifeh, Takaeidi, Pir’abad, Tolkohneh, Shahruey, Weysi, Shah’Nazari, Turaey, Ahangaran, Shah’Ghaleb, Sarollah, Tang Ban, Varzdar, Yousefi, Shahrak Taleghani, mouregah, masiri, and all the Villages bajak, sarjushaeha (edalat, azadi, Quds, Badr).

Not to be confused with Tashan Rural District.
