Taoyuan City Council

The Taoyuan City Council (TYCC; Chinese: 桃園市議會; pinyin: Táoyuán Shì Yìhuì) is the elected municipal council of Taoyuan City, Republic of China. The council composes of 60 councilors lastly elected through the 2018 Republic of China local election on 24 November 2018.

History

The council was established on 21 January 1951 as Taoyuan County Council.[4] On 25 December 2014, the council was promoted in status to Taoyuan City Council after Taoyuan County becomes a special municipality.
