Griekspoor has a career high ATP singles ranking of 161 achieved on 16 September 2019. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 287 achieved on 1 August 2016.
Griekspoor made his ATP main draw debut at the 2017 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in the singles draw against Gilles Müller.[1] A year later, he defeated Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland in three sets to reach the second round. In 2019 Griekspoor defeated the number 11 in the world, Karen Khachanov, in the first round.
He is the younger brother of former tennis player Scott Griekspoor.
