Szałamaje

Szałamaje [ʂawaˈmajɛ] (German: Schalamai) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Czersk, within Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Czersk, 38 km (24 mi) north-east of Chojnice, and 69 km (43 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The settlement has a population of 61.

Transport

Szałamaje boasts its own self-named railway station; a PSR (Polish State Railways - PKP in Polish) station.[2] The station serves both passenger and freight trains. Its start station being Nowa Wieś Wielka and end station Gdynia Port Centralny.[3]
