Stefan Mitrović (footballer, born 1990)
Stefan Mitrović (Serbian Cyrillic: Стефан Митровић, pronounced [stêfaːn mǐtroʋitɕ]; born 22 May 1990) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ligue 1 club Strasbourg. At international level, he has represented the Serbia national team.

Club career
On 9 June 2012, Mitrović signed a three-year deal with Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League.[1]
On 7 May 2013, he moved to Benfica on a five-year contract, joining a host of fellow countrymen.[2] During his first six months, he only appeared for the reserve team.[3] On 22 January 2014 he was loaned until the end of the season to Real Valladolid.[4]
On 16 July 2014, Mitrović signed with SC Freiburg for a €1.175 million transfer fee.[5][6][7] He made his debut on 4 October 2014, against Werder Bremen.[8] He signed for French club RC Strasbourg from Belgian club Gent in June 2018.[9]
International career
He made his debut for his national team on 31 May 2014, against Panama.[10]
On 14 October 2014, Mitrović took down the flag of "Greater Albania" during a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match in Belgrade that was flown over the pitch by a remote control drone.[11]
