The municipality covers an area of 5.72 square kilometres (2.21 sq mi), and has a population of 241 (as at 3 July 2006).
Střížovice lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Kroměříž, 16 km (10 mi) west of Zlín, and 237 km (147 mi) south-east of Prague. There are many farms around the village.
History
The first time the village was mentioned in writing was in 1349.
Sights
There are a couple of notable sights. One if them is a statue of Saint Florian. There is also a cross behind the village.
