Stádlec lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Tábor, 45 km (28 mi) north of České Budějovice, and 79 km (49 mi) south of Prague.

Sights

Stádlec is well known for its rare Stádlec Suspension Bridge over the Lužnice. It connects Stádlec with the village of Dobřejice (a part of Malšice).
