Squaw Township, Warren County, Iowa
Squaw Township is a township in Warren County, Iowa, USA.[1]
History
Squaw Township takes its name from the language of the large Native American population once present within its borders. Squaws, or American Indian women, were regularly seen carrying their babies in papooses.[2]
