Smiřice
Smiřice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈsmɪr̝ɪtsɛ]; German: Smirschitz) is a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,900 inhabitants.

Smiřice is first mentioned in a written document from 1361. It gained the town rights in 1659.
