Shiranthi Rajapaksa
Shiranthi Wickremesinghe Rajapaksa (Sinhala: ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ) (born 23 January 1953) is a Sri Lankan Child Psychologist who was the First Lady of Sri Lanka from 2005 to 2015. She is married to Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Education
Shiranthi Rajapaksa completed her primary and secondary education at Holy Family Convent, Colombo.
Family
In 1983, she married Mahinda Rajapaksa. The couple has three sons. Namal is a current Member of Parliament for Hambantota District while his brother Yoshitha was commissioned as an Acting Sub Lieutenant in the Sri Lanka Navy in March 2009 [1] appointed an Aide-de-camp to the President in 2006 and youngest son is Rohitha Rajapaksa.
Thajudeen murder
Mrs. Rajapaksa was grilled by the Sri Lankan CID together with her son Yoshitha for the Thajudeen murder. The rugby player who met with a deadly car crash was first deemed to have been an accident but was later proven to have been tortured and murdered. Mrs. Rajapaksa's jeep owned by Siriliya Saviya Foundation was suspected on the issue to use for the murder.[2][3]
