Sentimental Education (film)

Sentimental Education (French: L'Éducation sentimentale) is a 1962 French drama film directed by Alexandre Astruc. It is also known as Lessons in Love. The story focuses on a student who has an affair with a married middle-class woman whose husband cheats on her with a model. The film is loosely based on the novel Sentimental Education by Gustave Flaubert. The screenplay was written by Roger Nimier with dialogue by Roland Laudenbach and Alain Astruc.[1]
