Second Amendment to the Constitution of Pakistan

The Second Amendment to the Constitution of Pakistan (Urdu: آئین پاکستان میں دوسری ترمیم‎) became a part of the Constitution of Pakistan on September 17, 1974 under the Government of Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.[1] It declared that Ahmadis were non-Muslims.[1]

Text

A person who does not believe in the absolute and unqualified finality of The Prophethood of Muhammad, the last of the Prophets or claims to be a Prophet, in any sense of the word or of any description whatsoever, after Muhammad, or recognizes such a claimant as a Prophet or religious reformer, is not a Muslim for the purposes of the Constitution or law.[1]
