Sawao Yamanaka
Sawao Yamanaka (山中 さわお, Yamanaka Sawao) (born December 7, 1968) is the frontman of the bands: The Pillows, with Yoshiaki Manabe and Shinichiro Sato, and The Predators, with drummer, Shinpei, from Straightener, and bassist, Jiro, from Glay. Sawao also did a side project with his brother, Hidetoshi, called Spiky Brothers, and produced 2 demo tapes with 10 songs in total. He also appeared in a movie called Colors of life.

Yamanaka's catch-phrase is "Oh Yeah!", this is popular among many of his fans. Yamanaka uses this phrase countless times during shows, in, and in between songs. He is an avid fan of the popular 90's grunge group Nirvana (band), and performed a cover of their song Breed during The Pillows' concert at Slim's Live Music Club in 2005.
