Rubyanna is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census Rubyanna had a population of 244 people.[1]

History
The name Rubyanna comes from a sugarcane plantation name operated by surveyor John Charlton Thompson supposedly after his wife's name.[2][3]
Rubyanna Provisional School opened circa 1899 and closed on 1905.[4]
In the 2016 census Rubyanna had a population of 244 people.[1]
