Renaissance Pictures Logo
1st Logo (1993-1994): In a space background, the words "Renaissance Pictures" are stacked on top of one other. The words appear to be over a planet of some type. The sun then rises over top of the name which makes the name shine. The FX in this logo is very simplistic. Just an whoosh when the sun rises.
2nd Logo (1994-2018): We zoom put on a old piece of parchment which reveals to be an old 16th century painting which makes a striking resemblance to Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. A lightning strike appears which tears the painting in half, which makes both pieces pull away over time. As the two halves of the painting pull away, more lightning strikes are seen which finally reveals the company name "Renaissance Pictures". The sound track in this logo is very nerve-racking. It consists of a low Tibetan Monk chant, loud thunder and loud lightning crashes. As the logo aged, the chant, thunder and lightning FX were changed with a loud crack and booming crash.
