Rang Majha Vegla (translation-My Color Is Different) is an Indian Marathi soap opera that airs on Star Pravah. It premiered on 30 October 2019.[1]It is the loosely based on Malayalam series Karuthamuthu.

Plot
It is the love story of young girl Deepa.[2] Soundarya Inamdar is the owner of 'Satej Kanti' business. For Soundarya looks are the most important feature of a person due to her past incident. That's why she hates black people. Deepa's mother passed away in an accident while saving childhood Kartik when she was a nurse then her father Shridhar marries Radha. They have daughter named Shweta, who hates Deepa because her black tone. Shweta is 'Wheatish' in the house.
On the other hand, Kartik is the son of Soundarya who is sensible and intelligent, according to him looking beautiful is not the only thing that should be matter.
Kartik meets Deepa and falls in love because of her kind behaviours toward people.Deepa helps a man on road suffering from acidity but she took it as a heart problem and took him to Aaditya hospital with the help of Kartik. Deepa donates blood in Kartik's Hospital due to lack of blood in blood bank and was urgently needed for the patient. Deepa signed a form of eye donation after listening to the Kartik advising to the people during a camp. Kartik praises Deepa and compliments that her eyes are so beautiful. Kartik and Deepa frequently encounter each other and Kartik is impressed by Deepa's kindness and generosity. Shweta blackmails Kartik to marry her or else she will commit suicide. Kartik says he will talk with his mother after her Shweta's birthday party which is arranged by Soundarya. Later, Kartik meets Deepa and Shweta's father and asks his permission to marry Deepa and reveals that he cannot sire children and asks Deepa's father to tell this to Deepa. If she accepts this, he will marry her in a temple. Deepa's father is unable to find relations for Deepa and accepts the proposal, but doesn't inform Deepa about Kartik's inability to have children. Deepa is happy that a man with a good heart will marry her. On Shweta's birthday Kartik marries Deepa without anyone from either side and brings her to the birthday party. Soundarya becomes angry that Kartik married the swarthy girl. Shweta is furious that Kartik married her elder sister not her. Aditya, Kartik's younger brother and Kartik's father (Lalit) are happy, however. After some insults, Soundarya allows Deepa to remain in the house. Shweta marries Aditya, but Shweta wants to get rid of Deepa and Aditya. She also wants to marry Kartik, but she eventually fails. Soundarya senses odd behavior from Shweta and warns her to be a good wife and daughter-in-law or she will expel her. Shweta stops the attempts and starts loving Aditya.
A new character, Tanuja Mantri is introduced. She was Kartik's college friend. Soundarya likes Tanuja as she is fair-skinned. Tanuja becomes angry when she learns Karthik is married and promises herself she will get him back. Shweta is pregnant and Tanuja kills the baby and makes everyone accuse Deepa of it. Deepa proves she did not kill the baby and consults a doctor as she wants to get pregnant and wants to know why she isn't expecting yet and Kartik discusses this with Tanuja and Tanuja convinces Kartik to change the reports before all of this.
