Piano Quintet No. 2 (Fauré)
Gabriel Fauré's Piano Quintet in C minor, Op. 115, is the second of his two works in the genre. Dedicated to Paul Dukas, the Piano Quintet No. 2 was given its premiere in Paris at a concert of the Société Nationale de Musique on 2 May 1921.[1]
There are four movements
- Allegro moderato
- Allegro vivo
- Andante moderato
- Allegro molto
The playing time of the quintet is about 30 minutes.[1]
