Piadena

Piadena (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpjaːdena]; Eastern Lombard: [ˈpjadenɔ]) is a former comune in the Province of Cremona, Italy. On 1 January 2019 it merged with Drizzona to form Piadena Drizzona.[3]

It is home to one or more prehistoric pile-dwelling (or stilt house) settlements that are part of the Prehistoric Pile dwellings around the Alps UNESCO World Heritage Site.[4]
