Philippine Basketball Association All-Star Game Most Valuable Player award
The Philippine Basketball Association All-Star Game Most Valuable Player (MVP) is an annual Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) award given to the player(s) voted best of the annual All-Star Game. This was initially held in the 1982 PBA season[1] wherein a North vs. South All-Star series were held in Manila and Cebu City. The late Arnie Tuadles was adjudged as the first All-Star MVP when he scored a total of 70 points in the 2-game series including a career-high 50 points in the game held in Cebu City which the South All-Stars won against the North All-Stars 122-119. However, it was only in 1989 that the All-Star Game was institutionalized.
