Pete Birrell
Peter Birrell (born 9 May 1941) is a British former pop musician.

Birrell was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester, Cheshire. Trained as an electrician, he played bass guitar in the group Freddie and the Dreamers, which had a number of hit records between 1963 and 1964.[1]
After the Dreamers broke up, Birrell became the chauffeur to the Lord Mayor of Manchester until he retired. His son David Birrell is a stage actor.
